“I Died, and Went to America.” (21 Minutes, Made in 2026)
This is my second video collage in which my goal was to source all of the media from the public domain. What I ended up putting together is a work that comments heavily on the din of constant consumerism in American society, as well as some parallels to some other dicey stuff!
Epilepsy Warning: There’s a part in this video which has flashing lights and rapid repeating patterns – it lasts approximently 25 seconds. If you are photosensitive then be advised. The triggering parts are between 15:04 and 15:28, so feel free to skip it!
Male Fantasy (14 Minutes, Made in 2025)
This piece is my first venture into the world of video collage. I took three DVDs an spliced them together to make a mishmash of images and sounds. There is a sense of a narrative to the work, but whether or not it reveals itself to you is, well, up to you! When dealing with collage based art forms, there’s only a degree of control one has of the final product, thus part of the joy is losing oneself to collage’s abstraction. With that all said, I hope you enjoy your look into the grimy and depraved Male Fantasy!
Video used: The Boxer From Shantung (1972), Highschool of the Dead: Drifters of the Dead (2011), The Bible (miniseries) (2013).

The Jar (6 Minutes, Made in 2024)
This was my second video art project in college. It’s a reflection of a weird little true story I expirenced during the 2019 COVID Pandemic. I wanted to make this piece because then, and still now, people haven’t really made art about the pandemic that took the world out from under all of us. It’s understandable that most peoples’ attitudes are to just move on from what happened, but I think there’s still a degree of societal trauma that has been neglected. Nonetheless, perhaps me being vulnerable with an experience of mine can help other people open up about that sort of stuff. As with the Doppelganger video, take this as seriously as you like.
Camera, lighting, and editing help: Emmett Anderson. Additional help: Madison Morin.
Doppelganger (11 Minutes, Made in 2024)
This was my first video art project for a class in college. At the time of making this video I had been watching many campy movies, so those influences inevitably bled into the project. The work shouldn’t be taken too seriously, if you got a kick out of watching it then I have done my part.
Camera work help: Benjamin Campbell. Makeup help: Tori Burgess. Housemate character: Juls Wehrle.
Songs used: “Madman Across the Water” by Elton John, and “People are Strange” by The Doors. All other sounds sourced were in the public domain.
